Where our reviews live
You will not find a wall of anonymous five-star quotes on this page. Anyone can type a glowing sentence and a first name, and since the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act came into force, doing so is not merely dishonest but unlawful.
Our reviews sit on our Google Business Profile, attached to real accounts, in public, including any that are less than perfect. That is worth considerably more than praise we wrote ourselves.
What to look for in any electrician's reviews
- Reviews spread over time rather than fifteen arriving in the same week.
- Detail. “Great service” tells you nothing. “Came out at eleven at night, found a leaking shower element, fixed it the same night” tells you a great deal.
- How the business replies to a poor review. Every trade gets one eventually. The reply is more informative than the complaint.
- Named accounts with a history, rather than blank profiles with a single review to their name.
- Claims you can check. Registration, insurance and calibration certificates are all things you can ask to see. A rating is not.
Leaving a review
If we have worked for you, a review helps more than you would expect — not for our benefit particularly, but for the next person standing in a dark hallway at midnight trying to work out which of six firms to ring.
Detail helps most. What went wrong, roughly when we arrived, and whether it was fixed. That is genuinely useful to somebody in the same position.
If something was not right
Tell us before you tell Google, and we will put it right. Not because a poor review is embarrassing, but because a job we did badly is our problem to fix and we would rather hear about it directly and early.
Ring 0333 360 8691 or email contact@supreme-emergency.co.uk. If something we installed has failed because of how we installed it, we come back and put it right at no charge.
